How to Enjoy a Chicago Cubs Game

Chicago Cubs | XL Sports Blog

Known as the “Lovable Losers” by many fans, the Chicago Cubs are a symbol of determination and pride in the windy city of Chicago, Illinois. Beginning in the 1870’s this baseball team has been entertaining baseball fans at Wrigley Field for many years. If you are ready to experience the thrill and fun of a great game of baseball, then go buy your Chicago Cubs tickets!

The Chicago Cubs baseball team is probably best well known for not having won a World Series since 1908, but nevertheless their fans have remained loyal throughout the years. If you attend a game today you will find a stadium full of cheering fans. If you have never been to a game at Wrigley Field, it is important to understand seating, and of course the concessions.

Seating in the ballpark ranges from nosebleed bleachers to private skyboxes. If you are looking to enjoy the game and not spend a lot of money, your best bet is to purchase tickets for the high-rise bleachers. These seats offer bird’s eye views of the park, but be aware that the fans can get pretty rowdy so it would not be a good place to bring small children. If you are not short on cash and want to experience the game in luxury, you can buy seats in a private sky-box. The food is a bit more upscale but you do lose some of the authentic feeling of being at a baseball game. Therefore, the most ideal places to sit are in rows 222-233, 123-133 and 26-34. These areas of the stadium provide wonderful views and are close to concessions and bathrooms as well.

If you are looking to let your taste buds experience something special at the game, then you are in luck. Wrigley Field has been serving up Chicago pizza and inexpensive beer for legions of fans that rave about both. Foot long hot dogs and bratwursts are popular treats along with giant cookies, peanuts, pretzels and a long list of soft drinks and ice cream.
Buying a few Chicago Cubs tickets is a great investment, even if you are not a baseball fan. Many unenthusiastic sports fans still enjoy a game at the ballpark, just for the tradition and food and experience. You will not be disappointed by a game with the Chicago Cubs and you might even change your ideas about baseball and become an avid fan yourself.
