Plan Ahead For Houston Rodeo Tickets

Rodeo Houston is the world's largest livestock and live entertainment exhibition. Since the 1930s, it has evolved to become a massive must-attend event. More than 2 ½ million people took part in 2013, and the numbers keep growing. If you are planning to attend this extravaganza, you will need to get your Houston Rodeo tickets early.   

Where and When

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo takes place every March at the Houston Reliant Stadium. Each day's rodeo events are followed by concerts featuring some of the biggest acts in the country. The 2014 dates are March 4-23. Announcements for the line-up begin in late November and early December, and the full schedule is available by mid-January. Tickets are released soon after each event is announced.

The entire program has a strong charitable component, with proceeds providing scholarships and encouragement in various forms to youth of the State. 

Tickets for Stadium Events

Tickets for the daily rodeo events and the evening concerts are available in a wide price range, so you can choose according to your budget. The Action seats are considered the best in the house, located in the first seven rows, right in front of chuck wagon and rider action. Other lower level seating offers easy access to concessions and restrooms. Upper levels provide the most affordable seating, and eight huge video screens ensure that none of the action is missed. Remember that all Houston rodeo tickets sell out quickly so plan accordingly.
